Romans 9:1-3

1 I am speaking the truth in Christ—I am not lying; my conscience bears me witness in the Holy Spirit—

that I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart.

For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh.

Wow, the Apostle Paul wants his brothers to know God so much that he said, “ For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh.” (Romans 9:3) What he is saying here is that he would be willing to go to hell for his brothers to know God.

This passion and heartache of Paul is a great reminder that we have people in our life that don’t know God. May we continue to:

  • Preach the Word of God by continuing to share the Gospel with them.

  • Pray the Word of God by praying for them in person and in private.

  • Practice the Word of God by being an example of Christ.

Today, let’s write the names of the people in our lives we want to be saved in our journals and make an action plan on how we can share the Gospel with them, pray for them, and live side by side with them so they can know God.

Let’s pray and ask the Holy Spirit for boldness and courage to do our part in the salvation of those around us.

Let’s meditate on how Jesus saved us by preaching the Word of God, praying the Word of God, and practicing the Word of God so we may come to know Him.

Let’s keep on preaching the Word of God!

Let’s keep on praying the Word of God!

Let’s keep on practicing the Word of God!

Preaching, Praying, and Practicing the Word of God so all may be saved,
