Pastor Anan!

When DIVIN3KINGDOM visited Hawaii to minister to the U.S. Navy + The Salvation Army ARC we met an awesome man of God named Anan Katepoo. When he first approached us with his calm confidence at Camp Homelani I thought he was on staff for The Salvation Army. I was shocked to find out he wasn’t on staff for The Salvation Army but we was a client for the ARC (Adult Rehabilitation Center). The way he encouraged and helped out was a great example of Christ’s servant leadership. It was no surprise to me that he said he believed that God was calling him to become a Pastor. Our family from home, Jay Park “THE DIVIN3FATHER” and Lisa Park “MAMA LISA” surprised us and came to the Worship Service at Camp Homelani and when Jay met Anan he said to him, “You look like a Pastor.” I love so much how the family of God works to nurture and equip leaders for His Kingdom!

We asked Pastor Anan to minister with us that day and here is the powerful scripture he read that night for the ARC!

Philippians 3:7-11

7 But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ.

8 Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ

9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith—

10 that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,

11 that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead.

Recently, Pastor Anan reached out to me on Facebook and he is doing very well in Lord!

Please continue to pray for him as he follows God’s calling to be a Pastor!

In my opinion he already is.
