Today is Monday so we are going to talk about how to grow our DIVIN3FA!TH.

Poem inspired by Exodus 11

The LORD told Moses I will hit Pharaoh and the land of Egypt with one more blow

After that He will surely let my people go

Even though he has been scary

He will let you go in a hurry

Tell the Israelites to ask the Egyptians for silver & gold

GOD has favor on Moses & the Israelites both young & old

GOD without being cryptic

Tells Moses to tell Pharaoh He will pass through the heart of Egypt

As He passes through the heart of Egypt

He will rip out the heart out of Egypt

By killing the first borns of Egypt

Every first born child and livestock of Egypt

Then a loud wail of grief and sorrow

More louder than the sound of any tomorrow

Egypt’s Mothers and Fathers will sing a symphony of sadness

Mourning the loss of their children that once brought gladness

In the same night the Israelites are as quiet as a baby in their Mom’s belly

This was to show GOD’s favor on GOD’s people

This was to show that GOD doesn’t treat the Israelites and Egyptians, equal

All officials of Egypt beg for Moses and the Israelites to leave

Then burning with anger Moses finally leaves

GOD already told Moses before

That Pharaoh won’t listen because GOD hardened Pharaoh’s heart to the core

Pharaoh finally let’s the Israelites go

After his first born wasn’t able to breathe anymore
