Today is Thoughtful Thursday so we’re going to talk about DIVIN3FOCUS.

How can we grow in our DIVIN3FOCUS?

God’s Discipline Proves His Love

Hebrews 12 :1-3

1Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.

2 We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.

3 Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people;[c] then you won’t become weary and give up.

An IRONMAN Triathlon is a 2.4-mile (3.9 km) swim, a 112-mile (180.2 km) bicycle ride and a marathon 26.22-mile (42.2 km) run completed in that order, a total of 140.6 miles.

Most people will not do complete one IRONMAN in their lifetime. However a man named James Lawrence or better known as the IRON COWBOY has gained popularity when he did what is called the 50.50.50. which stands for 50 IRONMANS, in 50 States, in 50 Days. He later on broke his own record by doing 100 IRONMANS in 100 Days straight. Then later did 101 IRONMANS in 101 consecutive days.

This got me inspired to get back to sleeping right, eating right, exercising right, and being in the right mood.

Not only that it made me reflect and refocus on “DISCIPLE MAKING”

Some Christians or professing Christians I should say will live and die and not make one disciple while others make countless disciples.

Our Triathlon is studying the word of GOD, obeying the word of GOD, and teaching the word of GOD to others. (Ezra 7:10)

Let’s FOCUS and run the race that GOD has given us and finish well to GLORIFY GOD and ENJOY HIM FOREVER!
